**Persian Steamed White Rice** <br /><br />Follow these few steps to get fluffy, delicious rice! { Recipe yields 8 servings } <br /><br />1. Rinse 5 cups rice<br />2. Boil your water with 1/2 c. oil + 3 tbsp salt<br />3. Add your rice and cook for 5 mins., then drain. <br />4. Add canola oil to the bottom of your pan (optional: add turmeric or saffron)<br />5. Cover the pot and cook for 5–7 minutes until rice begins to steam.<br />6. Uncover and place 2 paper towels over the rice, then close the lid. <br />7.
